No vacation on New Year

The budget-funded employees will not have a vacation on New Year this year. They will be able to rest only on Saturday and Sunday – December 31 and January 1 – and will return to work on Monday. The Government didn’t accept Deputy Prime Minister Mihai Moldovan’s proposal to declare one nonworking day besides the weekend, Info-Prim Neo reports. Even if this day was to be recovered on a Saturday next January, the proposal was rejected. Prime Minister Vlad Filat said a lot of work is to be done and vacations are now not timely.
