No snow expected on New Year’s Eve

There will be no precipitation between December 30 and January 1. It will snow in parts on January 2. Nighttime temperatures in the period will oscillate between 0 and -5 degrees Celsius, while daytime temperatures will be around 0 degrees Celsius.

Tatiana Armaș, forecaster on duty at the State Hydrometeorology Service, has told IPN that the positive temperatures in the period are due to southern cyclones that entered Moldova.

The temperatures are expected to decline as of January 5 and it will snow.
