The Turkish authorities confirmed the reports that 36 persons were killed and about 200 were hurt in the suicide bombings and shootings at the Ataturk international airport in Istanbul. 28 of those dead were identified. According to the preliminary information provided to Moldova’s Consulate General in Istanbul, there are no Moldovans among the victims. The persons who were in transit at the airport were lodged at different hotels in Istanbul, IPN reports.
