No major violations were seen at the February 24 parliamentary elections, the head of the election observation mission of Promo-LEX Association Pavel Postica was quoted by IPN as saying in a news conference.

According to Pavel Postica, the observes of Promo-LEX in the course of the election day reported 127 faults in the voter rolls and 110 cases of photographing of ballots. There were identified 91 cases of organized transportation of voters and 83 cases of transportation in a group.

A number of 1,843 vote records received from observers of the national constituency were processed by 9:30am on February 25. According to the parallel vote count of Promo-LEX, the PSRM polled 30.83% of the vote, ACUM – 26.42%, the PDM - 24.26% and the Shor Party – 8.48%. The results are close to those presented by the Central Election Commission.

In single-member constituencies, the parallel vote count shows that despite the ascertained errors, the winners in most of the cases were those announced by the CEC.

Promo-LEX had observers at all the domestic polling stations, not yet at those established overseas.
