The water level in the Nistru river in the area of the Vadul lui Voda-based pumping facilities has reached 19.05 m on Wednesday morning. Officials from the water supplier “Apa-Canal Chisinau” (ACC) have told Info-Prim Neo this could be the last hike for this period. “The Ukrainian authorities have informed us they will not release large quantities of water what makes us believe the water level won't rise,” says Arcadie Rusnac, an official of ACC. According to him, the pumping facility functions normally, and if the situation remains stable during the day, there will no threats the water may enter Chisinau City. Now there remained 1.5 m more for the station to be flooded. On July 29, the Nistru's water level reached 18.45 meters.
