Acting mayor of Chisinau Nistor Grozavu proposes reanimating the interdepartmental sector commissions that would facilitate the identification of irregularities in ensuring sanitary order. The proposal to reanimate the commissions that stopped work three years ago was formulated in the September 25 meeting of officials of Chisinau services and divisions, IPN reports.
One of the tasks of the given commissions was to daily patrol the streets, quarters, recreational areas and suburbs to detect violations of the sanitary order committed by business entities or private individuals. The commission consisted of service managers and officials in charge of sanitation.
Nistor Grozavu noted that the document that regulates the activity of the commissions has been in force since 2000. This could be improved and then applied.
Proposals for improving the regulations are to be submitted by the head of the Chisinau Housing Stock Managing Division Petru Gontea together with district heads.
