Ninth, elevenths and twelfth graders finish studies on May 23

The students of the ninth, eleventh and twelfth forms will complete the 2007-2008 school year on May 23. The “last bell ring” event in secondary educational institutions will take place on May 30, starting at 9.00, Info-Prim Neo reports. Valentina Miron, the deputy director of the National Evaluation and Examination Agency of the Education Ministry, has told Info-Prim Neo that the graduation exam session will start on June 2. The ninth graders will take the exams between June 2 and 12. The graduates of secondary schools studying in Romanian will take three tests: the language of study, mathematics and geography, while those from schools teaching in other languages than the official one, will take one more test – the Romanian language. The Baccalaureate session will start on June 3 and continue until June 19. The high school graduates will take four exams, depending on the specialization of the class, while those from schools teaching in other languages than the official one – five exams. The students from schools for national minorities will take six exams. The language of study and foreign language exams are compulsory.
