Nine persons injured in traffic accidents

Two girls from Chisinau received different injuries when they were struck by cars. Dorina Iakimovski, senior specialist at the Traffic Police Division's Public Relations Service, has told Info-Prim Neo that five road accidents happened in Moldova on Tuesday, February 9. Nine persons were hurt in them, including two minors. An Audi car hit an 11-year-old girl on Grenoble St in Chisinau. The girl got her knees injured. A girl aged 15 was struck by a Ford on Muncesti St. She was taken to the hospital with a cranial-cerebral trauma. A 50-year-old man was hit by a Toyota on Hristo Botev St in Chisinau and sustained a malleolar fracture. Another three persons suffered injuries in a car accident in Sangerei town. A Huyndai ran into a Volkswagen parked by the roadside, damaging it and causing injuries to three persons. Twenty-three persons lost their lives in traffic accidents in Moldova this year. 253 persons sustained injures.
