Nina Căpățînă ranks fourth at Youth Olympic Games

Athlete Nina Căpățînă finished fourth at the Buenos Aires 2019 Youth Olympic Games in weight throw with the result of 34.51 meters, IPN reports.

China’s Li Xinhui became Olympic champion with the result of 36.75 meters. She was followed by Yelizaveta Dorts of Belarus with 35.13 meters and South-African athlete Dane Roets with 34.64 meters.

The national squad of Moldova at the Youth Olympic Games consisted of 17 athletes. The best results were achieved by swimmer Tatiana Salcuțan and wrestler Alexandrin Guțu, who won gold.
