Deputy Prime Minister Nicu Popescu, Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration, will take part in the NATO Summit in Vilnius during July 11-12, IPN reports.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration said that in the meeting of the foreign ministers of the NATO member and partner countries, Nicu Popescu will deliver a speech on the Moldovan authorities’ view about the regional security developments, referring to the measures taken by the Republic of Moldova to counter threats to national security, and about the methods of extending Moldova’s cooperation with NATO.
Also, Nicu Popescu will have meetings with a number of counterparts and officials of NATO member and partner countries.
