Nicolae Timofti’s documents filed to special commission

The leaders of the AEI parliamentary groups on Monday afternoon submitted the documents of Nicolae Timofti to the special commission for the election of the head of state, the commission’s chairman Tudor Deliu has told Info-Prim Neo. Nicolae Timofti is supported by the signatures of the 58 lawmakers of the ruling alliance. The documents include the medical certificate, which shows that Nicolae Timofti is capable of holding the post of head of state. The special commission will hold a meeting on March 13 to decide the voting procedure – with the pen or with the stamp ‘voted’. The elections will take place on March 16.
