Moldova’s President Nicolae Timofti and the President of Romania Traian Basescu will have a meeting in Iasi on March 19. The Moldovan official will pay a working visit to Romania to discuss the regional situation and matters of bilateral interest, IPN reports.
Nicolae Timofti told a news conference that the meeting was agreed during a phone conversation. The two heads of state will confer on the joint actions that can be taken to guarantee security.
The head of state didn’t say if he will also have other meetings during his visit to the neighboring state.
