Ex-Zimbru striker Nicolae Milinceanu signed a two-year contract with Chiasso, which ranks sixth in the second league of Switzerland, IPN reports.
Milinceanu convinced those from Chiasso to sign him after he played in the friendly against Luzern. The 25-year-old player entered the field in the 60th minute and managed to score in seven minutes, while Chiasso beat the team from the first league of Switzerland 3-0.
Milinceanu will be able to make his debut in the championship of Switzerland next February, he being ‘lent’ to the Maltese team Sliema Wanderers, which struggles for a title and ranks fifth, being three points behind the leading Valletta. Moldovan fullback Andrian Cascaval also plays in the championship of Malta, for Naxxar Lions.
