930 222 is the telephone number for the Child Protection Hotline – a new information and counseling service for child & family protection in Moldova, Info-Prim Neo reports.
The hotline has been launched by the Center for Children’s Rights (CDC), with the financial support of the international organization Children’s Legal Centre, based at the University of Essex, United Kingdom.
The main goal of this service is to provide counseling and protection for children, advocate for children’s rights, inform and redirect the beneficiaries to the relevant institutions, notify central and local authorities as well as law enforcement bodies of violations of children’s rights.
The service’s beneficiaries are children, parents and parents-to-be, specialists working in the field of child protection and any other persons who wish to get informed about children’s rights or willing to report cases where children’s rights are violated.
The hotline is open from Monday to Friday, between 10:00 and 16:00, with a lunch break from 12:00 to 14:00.
