Next-generation CT scanner at "Gheorghe Paladi"

Hospital The Municipal Clinical Hospital "Gheorghe Paladi" has been equipped with a state-of-the-art computed tomography scanner. According to the Ministry of Health, the device has 128 sections and offers faster and more accurate diagnostic services for many conditions, reports IPN.

The value of the tomograph is 8.3 million lei. It was purchased in the context of implementing the "Health" Component of the "Emergency Response to COVID-19 and Support for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises".

Project. At the same time, the capital repair of the space where the device is located cost over 1.3 million lei, funds allocated from the ministry's budget.

As part of the same project, the following institutions benefited from computerized tomography: the Institute of Cardiology, the Oncological Institute, the Institute of Emergency Medicine, the Municipal Clinical Children's Hospital "Valentin Ignatenco", the Balti Clinical Hospital, and the district hospitals of Comrat, Causeni, Hancesti, Floresti, Edinet, and Soroca.

The Ministry of Health specifies that in the last two and a half years, with the help of international partners, it has invested approximately 32 million lei in the modernization of the Municipal Clinical Hospital "Gheorghe Paladi".
