The Chisinau City Hall has launched the newspaper “CHIȘINĂU” as a means of informing the citizens about the implemented projects and the work done by the local public authorities, mayor Ion Ceban informed, being quoted by IPN.
“We aim to develop a periodical of a high quality, as many other localities/cities in the country and abroad do, so as to create a bridge of communication with the residents of Chisinau on the City Hall’s work and on transparency in the decision-making process,” stated the mayor.
Ion Ceban said the nice traditions are restored. Earlier, there was the municipal paper “Capitala” (“Capital City”) that presented the results of the local public administration of Chisinau. Also, the City Hall had a municipal radio station, “Antena C”.
The monthly newspaper “CHIȘINĂU”, which now has eight pages, will be available in a digital format and on paper, with a print run of 5,000 copies. The paper will be distributed to municipal public institutions that serve the citizens, to the One-Stop Shop and in public transport.
