The baby animals who appeared at the Zoological Garden in Chisinau during the past three months were exhibited to the public. The visitors can see two male and two female baby steppe wolves and a Hungarian bull.
Chief manager Olga Iuzvac has told IPN that a lynx, a llama and a deer were born at the Zoo meanwhile. They will remain in Chisinau until they grow older and will be later probably included in a program of animal exchanges with other zoological gardens.
At the end of April, the Zoo’s crocodile that had been kept for 40 years without being shown to the public was exhibited following repair and laying out works. There were also displayed raccoons, capybara, snakes, including an anaconda, and some birds that were kept closed.
The Zoological Garden is open daily from 8am until 8pm. Tickets cost 30 lei for adults and 5 lei for students. Entrance for pensioners and children under seven is free.
