New security equipment displayed at “Security 2010”

Moldexpo is housing the ninth exhibition “Security”, staged by the Ministry of the Interior, during September 22 and 25, Info-Prim Neo reports. The Ministry's subdivisions and national and foreign companies will exhibit personal and information security equipment. Every subdivision will display new methods of ensuring public order, regulating traffic and protecting buildings and property. “This exhibition is a very important instrument in creating a public security system in Moldova, on the basis of cooperation between the Ministry of the Interior, nongovernmental organizations and security companies,” said Nicolae Macovei, the head of the Public Order Police Division. He also said that the absence of supervision and alarm devices leads to significant losses. This fact is confirmed by the latest offenses committed at filling stations and currency exchange facilities.
