New searches have been carried out this morning in the case concerning the planning of public disorder, IPN reports.
The General Police Inspectorate said the searches are conducted by employees of the Organized Crime Investigation Division of the National Investigation Inspectorate and of the General Investigation Division in concert with the Prosecutor’s Office for Organized Crime and Special Cases. Details will be provided later.
Following similar searches carried out in Balti, Chisinau, Drochia and Ungheni last week, drafts with contact numbers of persons and a sum of 380,000 lei that was to be used to recruit, transport and remunerate persons incited to stage public disorder were seized. Eight persons were classed as suspects. The suspects aged between 23 and 41 include two women. They are suspected of taking action to prepare public disorder, including to transport persons from different regions of the country to Chisinau.
