The motorists in Tiraspol town will be stopped only if they cause situations of accident or behave inappropriately while driving. The cars of the Transnistrian patrolling police were outfitted with devices that record deviations committed by drivers in traffic. The recordings will be later transmitted to the competent bodies, IPN reports, quoting the local press.
If the penalized drivers pay the fine within ten days, they will benefit from a 50% reduction. If they avoid paying the fines voluntarily, bailiffs will intervene.
The new rules will be for now applied in Tiraspol only, but the intention is to extend them later to other regions.
