New religion textbooks will be available by winter vacation

The new religion textbooks have been printed. They will be distributed to schools by the winter vacation that starts on December 25, Deputy Minister of Education Tatiana Potang has told Info-Prim Neo. As many as 75,000 new religion textbooks have been printed at a cost of 1 million lei. The money was allocated by the Government. More than 74,000 applications for studying religion have been submitted since the start of the year. “There is no other optional course that would be so popular with the students,” said the deputy minister. A number of 319,000 students are now attending school in Moldova.
