The competition for the position of head of the public medical-sanitary institution will be announced 90 days prior to the expiration of the employment term of the head of the respective institution and will be published on the MSMPS and on the institution's websites. The regulation was approved today by the government.
In case the director position is vacated before the end of the term, the employment contest will be announced within 30 days.
Candidates for the contest will submit documents in order to confirm their professionalism and integrity. Each candidate will present a statement on their own responsibility that he or she has no criminal record and that has not been held criminally liable for economic crimes, crimes against public security and public order or other crimes.
Another declaration will include a statement regarding relatives and kindred, up to the fourth degree, employed at the public medical-sanitary institution for which the contest has been announced.
The professional reputation will be confirmed via the reference from the last workplace.
The term of office may not exceed a 5 year period. The Minister of Health, Labor and Social Protection, Ala Nemerenco, said that the vicious practice of heads of institutions elected "for life" is terminated.
