New president appointed at Centru district court

Judge Ion Turcan was named president of the Centru district court of the municipality of Chisinau for a four-year period, Info-Prim Neo reports, quoting the Parliament’s press service. Acting President Marian Lupu also signed decrees, appointing Maria Chiperi as vice president of the Anenii Noi court, Victor Orandas – as vice president of the District Economic Court, and Vasile Stihi – as vice president of the Telenesti court. They will all hold office over four years. There were also designated ten judges. These are: Aurelia Calmac, Vladislav Clima, Tudor Berdila, Ina Dutca, Stelian Teleuca, Maria Turcan, and Silvia Vrabii.
