New preselection for International Documentary Film Festival “Cronograf”

OWH TV Studio announces the opening of the preselection for the sixth edition of the International Documentary Film Festival “Cronograf”, which will take place in Chisinau on 1-5 May 2007. According to director general of OWH TV Studio, Virgiliu Margineanu, along with Documentary Film Section, beginning with this edition, the candidates are invited to apply for cadRO Section, dedicated to documentaries, which tackle issues related to Romanians and Romanian communities from all over the world. Local producers can also participate in the national sections: Video Clip, Music Video and Productions of local TV channels. The deadline for applications is 1 February 2007. The Grand Prix and the Trophy of the fifth edition of the “Cronograf” Festival went this year to the movie “Zdroj”/ “The Source”, from the Czech Republic. The Prize is awarded by OWH TV Studio. The same movie got the Prize “Public’s Congeniality”, awarded by the Medicine Center of Civil Aviation.
