New playgrounds to appear in Chisinau by this weekend

The last four playgrounds of the 25 planned to be built up in different places in Chisinau will be ready by the end of this week, officials of the City Hall assured, Info-Prim Neo reports. The eleventh fitness ground will be set up the coming days. According to the head of the Public Amenities Division Petru Gontea, the money economized as a result of the tender contest will be used to build another seven fitness grounds. Gontea also said the residents of Chisinau are contended and even queue up to perform exercises. The head of the Green Areas Association Eliferie Haruta complained that several playing horses and sports equipment placed on the playgrounds located on Kiev and Doina streets have been stolen. As many as 21 new playgrounds have been set up in Chisinau during the last several days.
