The campaign “Opening Doors for Europe’s Children” has a new member. This is CERI International Moldova, which became the eighth partner organization, IPN reports, with reference to a press release of Child, Community, Family Moldova (CCF Moldova).
Within the campaign, the partner organizations combine forces and plead for strengthening families and promote transition from residential care to community, family-type care for all the children of the Republic of Moldova.
“We decided to join this campaign as it matches the activities that we stage in Moldova and also the values that we embrace. We are here to help the disfavored families to overcome the difficulties and to bring up children in the warm and friendly environment of a family,” stated Ecaterina Babin, programs director at CERI International Moldova.
“With each new member, our voices becomes more powerful, while the transmitted messages reach more people, families, partners, authorities, backers, etc.” said Liliana Rotaru, president of CCF Moldova, which coordinates the campaign in Moldova.
The campaign “Opening Doors for Europe’s Children” was initiated in 2013. On December 1, 2016, there was launched its second stage. In the Republic of Moldova, the campaign is coordinated by CCF Moldova and is supported by the Alliance of Active NGOs in the Field of Social Protection of Family and Child, Amici dei Bambini, AVE COPIII, Keystone Human Services International Moldova, Partnerships for Every Child, Resource Center “Speranta” and recently by CERI International Moldova.
