New public key certification service offices were opened in a number of municipalities. Natural persons and legal entities from Balti, Cahul, Soroca, Edineț, Ungheni, Orhei, Hâncești, Tighina and ATU Gagauzia can now easier obtain the electronic signature, the Information Technology and Cybersecurity Service has said. The Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Moldova was chosen as the registration services provider, IPN reports.

The service became available at the offices of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry in the mentioned municipalities on Wednesday, May 3. It is intended for all the citizens who need to declare their property and personal interests.

“The goal is to facilitate the citizens’ access to the electronic signature, to save the time of the beneficiary that until now had to travel to Chisinau to obtain an electronic signature and to improve access to electronic public services,” said the director of the Information Technology and Cybersecurity Service Alexandru Koretski.

The list of offices that provide the certification service can be seen on www.semnătura.md.
