New motor mowers for Green Areas Association

The Green Areas Association has new motor mowers. The first 25 machines bought from Sweden got to Chisinau on June 2. The others will be delivered within two-three weeks, Info-Prim Neo reports. Acting mayor of Chisinau Nistor Grozavu said the new acquisition forms part of a project to modernize the green areas administration service. Until now, the workers used scythes and domestic appliances. The acting mayor voiced hope that now the process of cleaning the parks in the municipality will be administered much more efficiently. The Chisinau City Hall bought 67 new motor mowers for the necessities of the Green Areas Association. They cost 1.8 million lei.
