The Chisinau Electric Transport Company intends to place a new type of public transport schedule at trolleybus stations. Contacted by IPN, the company’s director Gheorghe Morgoci said that such schedules exist at all the stations in the Baltic Countries and the European Union.
The new model represents a rotating cylindrical construction showing the public transport schedule. The construction is made from resistant materials. Gheorghe Morgoci voiced hope that it won’t need to be changed as often as the current schedule.
A model construction was set up at the trolleybus station near “Mihai Eminescu” Theater as a demonstration. The offer was presented to Mayor General of Chisinau Dorin Chirtoaca, who will decide from what sources the project will be financed.
In Chisinau there are 370 trolleybus stations.
