The Chisinau Municipal Council approved a new model of annual season ticket for travelling by public transport within the municipality, IPN reports.
The holographic folio with the logotype of the Chisinau Electric Transport Company on the new season ticket will be golden, different from the blue color of the rectangle. The same logotype will be placed on the holder’s photo on the left lower corner after lamination.
The annual season ticket is available from this February and is valid until March 31, 2020. The costs associated with the making of the new annual season tickets will be covered by the Chisinau Electric Transport Company together with the Urban Bus Company.
The General Social Assistance and Health Division is to provide the Chisinau Electric Transport Company with the lists of persons who are entitled to compensations for trips by urban and suburban transport within the municipality, who asked for annual season tickets.
The pensioners and persons with disabilities whose monthly revenues do not exceed 2,000 lei can apply for such tickets. But these will have to renounce the compensation in favor of the annual season ticket.
