The Cabinet approved several normative documents aimed at positively solving a series of topical problems encountered by the inhabitants of the Transnistrian region, IPN reports.
There were specified the procedures for certifying civil status events that happened on the left side of the Nistru and in Bender municipality. The decision supplements the list of instruments instituted by the Government for guaranteeing the fundamental rights and freedoms of the residents of Moldova’s Transnistrian region.
Among the events that will be certified, if these took place in conditions similar to those described by Moldova’s legislation, are the birth, death, determination of paternity, change of name/surname, marriage and divorce.
Consequently, the citizens with the domicile on this territory will benefit from civil status documents issued by the constitutional authorities, while the relevant services will be provided by the specialized subdivisions of the Public Services Agency.
Also, the deadline for bringing oil products through the border crossing point “Novosavitskaya-Cuciurgan” was extended until the end of the second half of 2019. These products could be cleared at the customs post “Bender 2”. The time limit can be removed if joint control at the mentioned border crossing point is instituted before the six-month period expires.
The approval of these normative documents is a proof of the fact that the new measures taken by the Government of the Republic of Moldova come to further support the population and the business entities of the region.
