New maritime route to link Moldova's Giurgiulesti to Istanbul

A maritime route linking Giurgiulesti to Istanbul will be inaugurated on March 17. The announcement is made by the Giurgiulesti Passenger Port Operator, the state enterprise “Portul Fluvial Ungheni”, Info-Prim Neo has learnt from the Transports Agency. A passenger boat named “Printesa Elena”, with a boarding capacity of 145 people, will travel on this route. The journey consists of a 32-hour passage over the Black Sea and a two-day stay in Istanbul, reads a release of the Transports Agency. The passengers already can book tickets at the offices in the port. The price of a ticket includes the travel costs, three meals a day, accommodation on board during the stay in Istanbul, and 60 kg of hand baggage.
