The National Investigations Inspectorate of the General Police Division has a new head. This is Corneliu Groza, who until recently held the post of chief of the Centru Police Inspectorate. An order to this effect was made by Minister of the Interior Oleg Balan.
Press officer of the National Investigations Inspectorate Natalia Golovco has told IPN that the former chief of the Inspectorate Vadim Railean tendered his resignation, invoking personal reasons.
Corneliu Groza graduated from the Police Academy “Stefan cel Mare” of the Ministry of the Interior. He has worked in the internal affairs bodies for 20 years.
