The Central Election Commission decided that new local mayoral elections will take place in Opaci village of Căușeni district and in Cneazevca commune of Leova district on November 21 this year, IPN reports.
The persons who held the post of mayor in the two settlements tendered their resignations.
In total, new local elections on November 21 will take place in 15 localities of Moldova. The elections will be held in Palanca and Ștefănești villages of Ștefan Vodă district, Ucrainca and Opaci villages of Căușeni district, Hârtop village of Cimișlia district, Hlinaia village and Cupcini town of Edineț district, Ișcălău, Pârlița and Călinești villages of Fălești district, Camenca commune of Glodeni district, Negurenii Vechi village of Ungheni district, Bălceana village of Hâncești district, Bălți municipality and Cneazevca commune of Leova district.
