New leader in national futsal championship

ASET Chisinau took again the lead in the national futsal championship after beating away Sokol Tiraspol by 5-3 on Sunday, December 27, Info-Prim Neo reports. ASET also profited from the semi-failure of champion Tornado Chisinau, which drew 3-3 with Lexmax Chisinau. JLC Chisinau climbed to the third spot after demolishing ELAN Chisinau 9-2. After nine stages played, the rankings stand as follows: 1. ASET – 22 points, 2. Tornado – 20, 3. JLC – 13, 4. Lexmax – 11, 5. Sokol – 6, 6. ELAN – 6. The next round was scheduled for Sunday, January 3. JLC meets Sokol, ASET – Tornado, while Lexmax – ELAN.
