A new hotbed of COVID-19 was registered in Chisinau, at the Emergency Medical Assistance Center in Râșcani district, where 14 healthcare workers got infected, Minister of Health, Labor and Social Protection Viorica Dumbrăveanu stated in a press briefing after the meeting of the Single Command Center that manages the pandemic.
IPN quoted Viorica Dumbrăveanu as saying that 367 samples were processed on April 27 and 73 tested positive for the novel coronavirus. The total number of infections thus rose to 3,481.
As many as 925 persons were cured of COVID-19 so far. Also, 101 succumbed to the disease.
