The Chisinau General Division of Education Youth and Sport has a new acting head. This is the Division’s deputy head Alexandru Fleas. An order to this effect was signed by Mayor Dorin Chirtoaca. The information was confirmed for IPN by the head of the City Hall’s press service Vadim Branzaniuc.
Until recently, the post was held on an interim basis by Valentina Cujba, who replaced Tatiana Nagnibeda-Tverdohleb as head of the Division. The latter was suspended from post at end-November following illegalities identified in the delivery of food products to Chisinau schools and kindergartens. The work contract of Tatiana Nagnibeda-Tverdohleb expired at the end of 2016.
