About 2,000 trash cans in the parks and green areas of Chisinau will be renewed in the course of this year. The new-type bins were made by a local producer. These are from metal and have a lid for putting out cigarettes, IPN reports, quoting the Chisinau City Hall.
Approximately 1,000 garbage cans have been placed near bus and trolleybus stations and in crowded areas in Chisinau during the last two years.
The garbage bins are renewed within the project “Garbage cans for a clean capital city” that is co-financed by the National Ecological Fund.
