Moldovan students who study at international universities and have remarkable standing are invited to take part in the sixth contest Gala of Students Native of Moldova. By November 5, they can register on www.galastudentilor.md, IPN reports.
For the first time in the contest’s history, students who study at an university in Moldova, but completed the student exchange program Erasmus in the 2017-2018 academic year or are now involved in such an academic mobility program can also take part. The organizers said the experience of being a student at home is important and should be developed.
Another novelty of the contest is that the students who study arts will also be awarded.
Two to ten winners will be chosen in each category. All the participants will be enrolled in the contest for the top prize – Student of the Year.
The contest is also open to students who already graduated from a foreign university, but became involved in different social projects when returning home. Three winners will be selected based on the special results achieved in Moldova after finishing the studies abroad.
The candidates will be assessed during November 6 and December 4 and the Laureates Gala will take place at the end of December.
