New mayoral elections will take place in Ghiliceni village of Telenesti district on November 19, 2017. The Central Election Commission took a decision to this effect in its August 1 meeting, IPN reports.
The Commission’s president Alina Russu said the new elections will be held following the resignation of the mayor of Ghiliceni, about which the CEC was informed.
On November 19, new mayoral elections will also be held in Fundurii Noi village of Glodeni district, Stefanesti village of Floresti district, Plopi village of Cantemir district and Sarateni village of Leova district.
