New deputy ministers appointed

The Government replaced a number of deputy ministers and confirmed others in their posts, IPN reports.

Valeriu Chiveri and Iulian Groza were named as deputy ministers of foreign affairs and European integration.

Octavian Calmic was confirmed in the post of deputy minister of economy. There were also appointed two new deputy ministers: Tudor Copaci, who will be responsible for the energy sector, and former deputy minister of agriculture Dumitru Hodorogea, who will be in charge of the real sector.

Vladimir Grosu was confirmed as deputy minister of justice. Sabina Cerbu is the new deputy minister appointed at the Justice Ministry.

Liviu Oboroc was designated as deputy minister of regional development and construction, while Anatolie Zolotcov was confirmed in his post.

Viorel Gutu was confirmed as deputy minister of agriculture, Sergiu Sainciuc as deputy minister of labor, social protection and family, Valentina Tapes as deputy minister of the environment, while Octavian Grama as deputy minister of health.

Rusanda Glavan and Gheorghe Turcanu were named as deputy ministers of labor, social protection and family, while Sergiu Stanciu was chosen as deputy minister of youth and sport.

Vladimir Cebotrari was appointed as deputy minister of transport and road infrastructure.

There will be three deputy ministers at the Ministry of Information and Communication Technology:  Dumitru Parfentiev, Vitalie Tarlev, who worked as division heads at this Ministry, and Vitalie Ciolac, who has work experience in the public sector and the private one.

The Government also dismissed Sergiu Ciobanu from the post of deputy minister of economy, Veaceslav Gututui from the post of deputy minister of regional development and construction, while Valeriu Ciubuc from the post of deputy minister of transport and road infrastructure.

Ana Vasilachi was removed from the post of deputy minister of labor, social protection and family, while Mihaela Iacob and Dona Scola left their posts at the ICT Ministry.

Also on June 12, Stefan Chitoroaga was appointed as director general of the Forestry Agency “Moldsilva”, after being discharged from the post of deputy minister of agriculture and food industry.

Vitalie Curarari was named as head of the State Ecological Inspectorate.

The lists made public do not include deputy minister foreign affairs and European integration Andrei Popov.
