The Constitutional Court of Romania (CCR) on Monday, on March 17, rejected the appeals against the non-registration of Diana Șoșoacă as a candidate in the presidential election of this May, IPN reports.
According to a press release of the CCR, the judges rejected the registration of Diana Șoșoacă as a candidate and her electoral sign in the election of the President of Romania.
At the same time, the judges of the Court allowed to register George Simion and John-Ion Banu-Muscel as contenders in the presidential race.
So far, 12 candidates have been registered as candidates in the 2025 Romanian presidential election.
