New community center in Falesti will provide assistance to children at risk

A new community center was opened in Falesti town. The House of Hope will provide assistance to the children deemed at risk and to their mothers, Info-Prim Neo reports. Among the institution’s beneficiaries will also be socially vulnerable families and young persons that graduate from boarding schools. Some of the beneficiaries will be accommodated at the center on a temporary basis. In a communiqué, the Ministry of Social Protection, Family and Child says that the center is designed to prevent the abandonment and institutionalization of children. The center’s employees will provide counseling, education, professional orientation and other services. Twenty-six community centers have been opened this year through the Social Investment Fund. In Falesti district, there are four centers of the kind and two more will be opened until this yearend.
