New center for children to be opened in Chisinau’s Telecentru district

In the first days of September, in Chisinau’s Telecentru district a new and modern Center for children will be inaugurated and in the middle of September, a Maternal Center will be opened within the Municipal Foster Home, where the future mothers will be provided with medical, social and psychological assistance. The deputy head of the Municipal Department for the protection of children’s rights, Clara Grinberg told Info-Prim Neo that both the center for children and for future mothers will be opened due to the financial support of the local authorities and of the international bodies. The new center for children will be similar to the one inaugurated on Tuesday, August 29, in Chisinau’s Buiucani district. Clara Grinberg says that the future center from Buiucani will have many rooms and activities, so that the region’s children will have an occupation. Sport, computer, board games rooms will be available in the future. The daily capacity of the Center will not be less than 50 children. According to the cited source, the value of building’s general repair works is estimated at MDL 380 thousand and the equipment, computers and toys were offered by the International Migration Organization. 48 centers for children are located in Chisinau. Of them 17 had been repaired and will be put into operation and in the near future 5 more centers will be opened.
