New cases of illegal consumption of heat identified in Chisinau

The Chisinau heat supplier discovered new illegal connections to the centralized heating system. According to a communiqué from the company, a private house located on Bariera Sculeni St was illegally connected to the centralized heating system. The owner is to be held accountable in accordance with the law. An apartment situated on Zelinschi St was also heated illegally by illegal connection to the centralized system. The bills for the owner will be recalculated. Some of the apartments from Dumitru Racanu St will pay five times more for heat for illegally using hot water, in the absence of water meters. A number of irregularities were identified in apartments located on Ginta Latina St, Mircea cel Batran Blvd. and Mitropolit Banulescu Bodoni St. Though the apartments were connected to autonomous heating systems and were to pay for the heating of the common areas in buildings (15%-20%), they weren’t billed for this.
