Only one case of infection with the novel coronavirus was detected among the samples taken from 46 persons, in a man who returned from Italy, IPN reports.
After the meeting of the Single Command Center for managing the crisis caused by COVID-19, Minister of Health, Labor and Social Protection Viorica Dumbrăveanu said that 30 cases of infection with the virus have been confirmed in Moldova so far. A 60-year-old woman who was hospitalized on March 8 was treated and allowed to go home. Two more persons will be discharged the next few days
Parliament adopted a decision to declare a state of emergency in Moldova for 60 days, as from March 17, at the suggestion of the Government, given the epidemiological situation generated by COVID-19.
