Prime Minister Vlad Filat's Liberal Democratic Party today obtained registration with the Central Election Commission to run for parliament, being assigned no.13 in the ballot paper, Info-Prim Neo reports. Also today the CEC received the application of businessman Gabriel Stati who aspires to become an independent candidate. The Commission has 7 days to examine the application. If registered, Gabi Stati will be no.16 in the ballot. [The following candidates obtained registration:] 1. National Liberal Party 2. Democratic Party of Moldova 3. Liberal Party 4.
