Starting with September 2, a new suburban bus route is available to the inhabitants of Sângera town - No. 18B “Ismail St - Sângera town”. The Chisinau City Hall said that this is a new route introduced on a trial basis, which will connect the Centru district of Chisinau with Sângera, up to Viilor and Aerogarii streets, IPN reports.
The buses on that route will run from Șoseaua Muncești St along Viilor, Aerogarii and Orhei streets, the intersection with Primăverii St. The way back will be from Orhei Street along Aerogarii, Viilor, Muncești, Chisinau, 31 August 1989, Stefan cel Mare and Sfânt, Chișinăului, Miorița, Șoseaua Muncești streets and further as usual.
“The new itinerary will also pass by “Alexandru cel Bun” Theoretical High School in Sângera. The local administration of Sângera carried out a series of works on the route in order to ensure the safety of passengers and road traffic. The intersection of Viilor and Aerogarii streets was widened, while the traffic circle on Orhei St and the parapet on Aerogarii St were adjusted,” the City Hall has said.
Municipal suburban bus routes No. 18, 18 A, 33 and 44 go at present to Sângera town and to the villages of Revaca and Dobrogea.
