Tudor Copaci, Japan-funded “Support to Small and Mid-sized Enterprises” Project Manager, has been named to serve as Deputy Minister of Economy on Wednesday, April 9. At the same sitting, the Cabinet of Ministers approved the appointment of Tatiana Loghin to the position of head of the Main Tax Inspectorate, Info-Prim Neo reports.
Tudor Copaci replaced Viorel Melnic, who was named as director general of the Customs Service last week.
Tatiana Loghin, replacing Sergiu Puscuta, has been working in Moldova’s tax system since 1983. Her previous position was first deputy head of the Main Tax Inspectorate’s Chisinau branch.
Sergiu Puscuta resigned last week as Moldova’s chief taxman and accepted to become general director of the Economic Crimes and Corruption Combating Center.
