The National Bank of Moldova (BNM) on September 10 puts into circulation, as a means of payment and for numismatic purposes, a commemorative coin dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the inauguration of the Chisinau National Theater “Mihai Eminescu”, as the first stable Romanian expression theater eastwards the Prut, IPN reports.
The silver coin has the face value of 100 lei and was issued in 300 copies. It will supplement the series “Historical Events”, BNM said in a press release.
The commemorative coin packed in a transparent methacrylate capsule and presentation box is accompanied by an authenticity certificate in Romanian and English signed by the governor of the National Bank of Moldova.
The commemorative coins issued by the National Bank are sold through the agency of licensed banks of the Republic of Moldova.
